Among the most important measuring instruments for qualification and conformity testing in the field of ESD protection are resistance meters such as the <\/span>Metriso\u00ae3000<\/a><\/em><\/strong> or <\/span>Metriso\u00aeB530<\/a><\/em><\/strong> as well as resistance testers such as the <\/span>SRM\u00ae200<\/a><\/em><\/strong> or<\/span>SRM\u00ae110<\/a><\/em><\/strong> . These devices are used to measure surface resistance, point-to-point resistance, leakage resistance, and grounding resistance. To test personal grounding, special testers for wrist straps, spiral cables, and ESD shoes to ensure the proper dissipation of electrostatic charges, such as the PGT\u00ae130DT or the PGT\u00ae120.COM. To measure electrostatic fields, electric field meters such as the <\/span>EFM\u00ae51<\/a> is used. In addition, a Charged Plate Monitor (CPM)\u2014such as the CPM54<\/a> Ionizer Tester\u2014is used to verify the operation of ionizers.
